The following Terms of Service (TOS) will help you better understand our guidelines related to your use of r Digital Music Education  Lessons. By joining Digital Music Education Lessons, and using any of our educational products and services, and learning tools, you agree to all of the following Terms of Service and any future updates we may make to our Terms of Service.

TERMS OF SERVICE 

Billing & Invoices 

All your lessons, as well as invoices can be viewed in your Digital Music Education account. As a client, you can choose to redeem lessons weekly, fortnightly, once a month or on ad hoc basis under agreement with Digital Music Education . 

After your first lessons package, you will be asked to confirm whether you wish to continue with further lessons and if you would like to change anything going forward, i.e., lesson duration, instrument, teacher etc. If you do not respond, we will assume that you do not wish to continue and your slot will be open to other students. 

After your second package, you will automatically be invoiced for your following package. If you do not wish to continue with your next package, simply let us know. 

Failure to pay on time will result in lessons being put on hold until the payment is cleared. 

Lessons continue during school holidays as normal unless the student or the teacher are on a break. Please notify us or the teacher if you plan on pausing lessons during holidays. 

Changing Teachers 

If we find that your teacher is not providing you with the best service possible, or is breaching their agreement with Digital Music Education, their service will be terminated immediately and a replacement teacher will be provided. 

If for any reason we must change your teacher or terminate their service, your remaining lessons will be refunded should you not wish to continue with another teacher. 

If you wish to change your teacher due to conflicting schedules, you will be offered a free trial lesson with another teacher to ensure that you’re happy to continue with them. 

Cancellations 

If you wish to cancel or reschedule your lesson, please notify your teacher at least 7 hours in advance and they will do their best to move the lesson to another slot. If your teacher is unable to move the lesson to a suitable slot, then you will not be charged. Lessons cancelled under 7 hours will not be rescheduled and you will be charged the full fee. 

 

If the teacher requests a change of time or day of the lesson and you are unable to have the lesson at that particular time, the lesson will be rescheduled to when both parties will be available. 

 

We cannot reschedule and refund unattended or missed lessons if the required notice was not given. Our systems email automated reminders to clients to help ensure that lessons are not missed. 

If you would like to end your lessons before your package ends, your remaining lessons will not be refunded.

USERNAME & PASSWORD: You agree to be the sole user of the username and password you created when joining Digital Music Education student portal, and to reasonably protect that username and password, and notify r Digital Music Education  if you believe its been breached or otherwise compromised. 

PRIVACY POLICY: Digital Music Education does not sell, share, or rent any personal information to third parties for any reason. Digital Music Education uses your name, address, and credit card information solely to deliver their service and for billing purposes. Digital Music Educationuses your email address for delivering administrative and promotional information, which communications you can control and/or unsubscribe from. LESSONS: All payment is to be made via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed with Digital Music Education. Payment  

for the next lessons package is to be paid for in advance. Failure to pay lesson fees on time can result in termination of service. All lesson cancellations made with less than 7 hours notice are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the lesson cancelled. To cancel or reschedule the lesson, please contact either us or your tutor directly as soon as possible. If you wish to cancel with less than 12 hours notice please contact your tutor directly.  Please notify Digital Music Education in advance about any upcoming holidays and potential long term absences. 

Lesson packages can not be refunded once purchased, however can be credited for gift cards and other Digital Music Education services and products.

TUTORS: If we find that your tutor is not providing you with the best service possible, or is breaching their agreement with Digital Music Education,  their service will be terminated immediately and a replacement tutor will be provided. 

If for any reason we must change your tutor or terminate their service, your remaining lessons will be refunded should you not wish to continue with another tutor. If you wish to change your tutor due to conflicting schedules, we will do our best to provide a new tutor. 

Lessons are redeemed weekly,  fortnightly or on ad hoc basis depending  on the agreement between you,Digital Music Education and the tutor.  

 

Dates and times of the lessons can be moved  providing at least 7 hour notice has been given to the tutor or Digital Music Education .  Our tutors will do their best to reschedule your lesson, but if it’s not possible to do so, you will not be charged. 

 

If the tutor requests a change of time or day of the lesson and you are unable to have the lesson at that particular time, the lesson will be rescheduled to when both parties will be available.If internet connection on either side is disruptive to the Virtual teacher lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled without a charge. This is only valid if the quality of the connection becomes apparent during the call.  

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: The educators and staff at Digital Music Education work very hard to author and produce the content that comprises the educational products and services available on r Digital Music Education . All of our educational products and services, and learning tools, are protected by U.K and International copyrights. You agree that you will not share, publish, copy, distribute, re-sell, or otherwise exploit our logos, branding, educational products and services, learning tools, or any other form of our intellectual property, for any personal, promotional and/or commercial use, without our express written permission.AGREEMENT UPDATES: We reserve the right to add, delete and/or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. Digital Music Education  

 reserves the right to update, revise, or otherwise alter the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement, at any time, with notice provided in your r Digital Music Education account. Your continued use Digital Music Education and its products and services following posting of a change notice or new agreement will constitute your binding acceptance of the changes.INDEMNITY: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Digital Music Education, its educators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all third party claims, losses, liability, damages, and/or costs (including reasonable attorney fees and costs) arising from your access to or use of the Digital Music Education website or its products, services, and learning tools, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your infringement, or infringement by any other user of your account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.TERMINATION: Digital Music Education reserves the right to terminate your account, subscription, and/or access at any time for breach of terms or non- payment. By using Digital Music Education educational products and services, and learning tools or accessing the Digital Music Education Website, you acknowledge that you have read these terms of use and agree to be bound by them.Our website uses cookies so that you can place orders and we can provide you with a better service.
